Mönchengladbach, located some 30 minutes from Düsseldorf, is the location of a cutting edge R&D centre for Stora Enso Paper. The centre focuses on offering technical service to customers and can, for example, help to optimize the efficiency of the customers’ print process, give advice on improving the quality of print work or check the recyclability of print media. As a concrete example, the recyclability testing service can determine the suitability of printed or converted product for return into the recycling process. This saves money by avoiding expensive waste solutions and allows the customer to apply for certain eco labels.
