Stora Enso Maxau is looking for a highly communicative, visible, courageous and determined candidate with high potential to assume the role of Process Engineer in our Production team in Maxau Mill.

During your first 18 months in this job you will participate in the Stora Enso GROW Global Trainee Programme.

Job description

We are looking for a paper engineer to grow with the position in our Maxau Mill organisation. The position holder is expected to challenge, rethink and change current working methods, production processes and organisation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analysing and working with KPIs of our PPS, i. e. production output, time and material efficiency
  • Troubleshooting and analysis of process and machine problems
  • Process development including paper machine trials
  • Project management in order to improve efficiency and asset quality
  • Efficiency-, quality- and cost optimisation
  • Required Education
  • Master/Bachelor degree in Paper Technology (second choice: Master/Bachelor degree in Forestry)
  • The person sees his or her future in mill operations for the coming years.
  • Graduation by August 2019 at the latest.
  • Work Experience
    Recent graduate or maximum 2 years of relevant working experience.
    Language Skills
    Fluency in German together with written and spoken English as a secondary language.

    The ideal candidate is highly structured and systematic, works proactively and result-oriented and is willing and able to take initiative.     General requirements

  • Have graduated with a relevant university degree before 31.8.2019;
  • Are proficient in English;
  • Are willing to travel;
  • Have no more than 2 years of working experience after graduation;
  • Are motivated, development-minded, and up for a challenge.
