The focus of the Production Engineer is on the Łódź plant of Corrugated Packaging unit in Poland. The main responsibility of the selected candidate is to give input for the production process of corrugated plant operations with the ambition to improve continuously. This job is an opportunity to impact the effectiveness of the plant and support in delivering ambitious results.

In this role you will be part of production management team of Łódź plant. You will be in charge of goal setting to create and develop technology know-how and key competences. Additionally, you will develop and monitor technological processes and the overall efficiency of the unit. You will identify opportunities to improve, and implement developments in production lines and premises.
Your collaboration partners are all team members of the corrugated packaging plant in Łódź; operations teams, continuous improvement coordinator, planning and maintenance departments, and supply chain.
This position reports to Production Manager of Łódź plant.
Co-operating and providing the support for the Production Manager and production management teamAnalysis of production performance trends and looking for development opportunitiesOptimisation of production process incl. cooperation with continuous improvement coordinator, planning and maintenance departmentsLooking for and communicating any safety improvement opportunities within the organisationSkills management of production staff’s (skill matrix) and management of professional knowledge
A relevant university degree before August 2019 (Master of Science degree. Preferred specialisation in Papermaking, Mechanical Engineering fields or Production Management)
Graduation by August 2019 at the latest.
Recent graduate or maximum 2 years of relevant working experience. Working experience in production organisation will be considered as an advantage.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Polish.
