Imatra pulp mill team is now looking for a motivated, and hardworking individual. The production engineer will work with internal production and process development and customer feedback together with the Pulp mill organisation and with the maintenance company Efora Oy. The successful candidate will be trained within an international environment.

During your first 18 months in this job you will participate in the Stora Enso GROW Global Trainee Programme.

Job description

The Production Engineer is responsible for the following key tasks:

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensuring quality and production efficiency on pulp production lines
  • Production and Process development in Pulp mill
  • Cooperating with board production lines and maintenance
  • Developing and ensuring work safety
  • Participating in development projects and leading them
  • On-going training of skills of products and applications
  • Required Education
    A technical degree from university in Process, Pulp & Paper Engineering or in other relevant area.
    Graduation by August 2019 at the latest.
    Work Experience
    Recent graduate or maximum 2 years of relevant working experience.
    Language Skills
    Fluent in written and spoken Finnish.
    Excellent in written and spoken English.
    Other languages as an advantage.

    General requirements

  • Have graduated with a relevant university degree before 31.8.2019;
  • Are proficient in English;
  • Are willing to travel;
  • Have no more than 2 years of working experience after graduation;
  • Are motivated, development-minded, and up for a challenge.

Our wide board and barrier coating selection is suitable for the design and optimisation of packaging for liquid, food, pharmaceutical and luxury goods.
