Business Development Specialists (Services)
Containerboard Business Unit has been on a strong growth path and we are passionate about becoming the number 1 value adding partner to customers. We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to our Containerboard Product Management function. For this new position, we seek an ambitious and energetic colleague with a combination of technical and commercial skills to support the profitable growth of containerboard global business and support the differentiation of our offering via services.
The main responsibilities of the Business Development Specialist is to support our business growth by developing our service offering further, identify new markets and segments in the converting and packaging business, support the development of new business models, and work closely with sales and technical customer service throughout the sales process.
Based on our business unit’s service selling processes and Stora Enso’s Way of Selling you will partner with Sales and relevant supporting functions (e.g. technical customer service, sustainability, supply chain, marketing etc.) to support the selling of services, formulate value propositions, identify business opportunities with existing customers and quantify and communicate the expected value of containerboards services for its customers.
The Business Development Specialist will be driving the further development of the service offering of Containerboard Business Unit. Therefore, the main responsibilities of the job are:Create and follow up on service selling cases according to Stora Enso’s Way of Selling in partnership with Sales and supporting functionsDevelop service offering (incl. product strategies and processes) and sales toolsDevelop value based selling approach for servicesConduct containerboard-specific market research to identify new markets, market trends and customer needsAnalyse the unique selling points of Containerboard Business Unit and give input to our marketingSupport the development of new business modelsCreate structured proposals and presentation material for Containerboard managementCompetitor follow-up and best practice analysis
Master Degree in Operations Management, Engineering or Economics/Business
Graduation by August 2019 at the latest.
Recent graduate or maximum 2 years of relevant working experience. Working experience in technical support or sales will be considered an advantage.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Additional language skill will be considered an advantage.
