Sourcing and Logistics is looking for a clear, visible, courageous and ambitious candidate with high potential to assume the role of Logistics Engineer in our Logistics Land Transport team.

During your first 18 months in this job you will participate in the Stora Enso GROW Global Trainee Programme.

Job description

The position offers unique insight into an international business environment and an extensive global logistics network. The job will give you an opportunity to work and acquire knowledge in procurement, customer services, operations and supplier relationships.

Main Responsibilities
The Logistics Engineer is responsible for developing the terminal network to meet requirements of our customers. To focus on operations, planning and customer fulfilment by ensuring that the terminals are appropriately managed and part of our Global Logistics Network. Thus, you will be working with business process improvements with a special focus on delivery reliability to improve customer satisfaction and operations excellence of terminals and transport flows via terminals to the customers.

The Logistics Engineer is talented in communication and socially capable, a negotiator that must be a good steward of the company's financial resources.

You'll be part of our quest to drive continuous development of processes and suppliers to achieve visibility, delivery performance, improve customer service and reduce cost.
Required Education
Master Degree in Logistics, Economics/Business, Operations Management or Engineering.
Graduation by August 2019 at the latest.
Work Experience
Recent graduate or maximum 2 years of relevant working experience.
Language Skills
Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish.
Additional language skill will be considered an advantage.
Other requirements
The ideal candidate is highly structured and systematic, works proactively and result-oriented and is willing and able to take initiative. You need to have a solid financial understanding with an analytical mindset.

    General requirements

  • Have graduated with a relevant university degree before 31.8.2019;
  • Are proficient in English;
  • Are willing to travel;
  • Have no more than 2 years of working experience after graduation;
  • Are motivated, development-minded, and up for a challenge.

    Sourcing and Logistics leads the sourcing and logistics activities for divisions and group functions in co-operation with requesters and suppliers. We strive for being a forerunner in supplier responsibility, sourcing demanded quality in competition to best cost possible, delivery performance and driving innovations supporting our renewable materials ambitions with a clear drive for continuous improvements.
