Biomaterials division is looking for a Sales Trainee to be based in Stockholm or Skutsär. This is a very exciting opportunity to become part of our journey towards a truly renewable materials company.

During your first 18 months in this job you will participate in the Stora Enso GROW Global Trainee Programme.

Job description

The primary responsibility of the Sales Trainee will be to liaise with other members of the team and other technical experts such as business development, production, sourcing, TCS, R&D and Senior company managers.
You will build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally, understanding needs and building bridges to customers.

You will handle customer inquiries, customer data and ensure agreements are up to date. You will support with sales planning and reporting as well as administrative support to the Sales Manager.

Main Responsibilities
  • Interact with different stakeholders both within the organisation and externally
  • You will actively support the Sales team towards increasing CRM activities
  • You will support Sales team with input of data and meeting reports according to established action plan and ensure follow-up
  • Handle customer inquiries
  • You will collect and capture insights from customers back to the team
  • Keep customer data and agreements up to date to ensure efficiency
  • Support with sales planning and reporting
  • You will act as administrative support to the Sales Manager and other stakeholders
  • Prepare sales material for meetings with customers
  • Required Education
    Engineer or Business Administration degree or higher national diploma.
    Work Experience
    Recent graduate or maximum 2 years of relevant working experience. Working experience in sales will be considered an advantage.
    Language Skills
    Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish.
    Additional language skill will be considered an advantage.

    General requirements

  • Have graduated with a relevant university degree before 31.8.2019;
  • Are proficient in English;
  • Are willing to travel;
  • Have no more than 2 years of working experience after graduation;
  • Are motivated, development-minded, and up for a challenge.

    Unit Description

    Biomaterials division offers a wide variety of pulp grades to meet the demands of paper, board, tissue, textile and hygiene product producers. We also develop new ways to maximise the value extractable from the wood as well as other kinds of lignocellulosic biomasses. The extracted sugars and lignin hold potential for use in a range of applications.
